Inter Dimensional Computation | IDC™

A Trust Architecture for Intelligent Systems

Inter Dimensional Computation | IDC™ is an evolving computational architecture exploring how intelligent systems can reason across ethics, context, causality, transparency and time while establishing trust without defaulting to persistent identity or continuous data extraction.

01 / Philosophy

🧠 Philosophy

For decades, much of digital infrastructure has been built around an implicit assumption:

Verification requires extraction.

IDC™ explores another possibility.

Instead of repeatedly asking:

Who are you?

a trust-aware system may continuously evaluate:

Is the trusted interaction still present?

This shifts trust from a permanently stored identity toward a continuously evaluated computational relationship.

Privacy becomes Presence.

Identity can remain available where necessary without becoming the default substrate for every interaction.

From identity to presence. From extraction to participation. From opaque decisions to inspectable computation.
02 / Architecture

🏛 Architecture

IDC™ brings together ethical reasoning, temporal context, transparency, multi-perspective computation and governed participation within a unified architecture.

Rather than treating ethics, provenance and governance as layers added after deployment, IDC™ investigates how these properties can participate directly in computational decision formation.

The architecture is being explored for intelligent systems operating across domains including:

  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Autonomous Agents
  • Ambient Computing
  • Robotics
  • MedTech
  • FinTech
  • GovTech
  • Critical Infrastructure
  • Edge AI
  • Multi-Agent Systems
  • Human–Machine Interaction

IDC™ is not positioned as a replacement for existing AI models.

It is designed as a computational and governance substrate through which models, agents, algorithms and external systems may interact under explicit constraints, transparency and contextual reasoning.

03 / Core Engines

⚙️ Core Engines

⚖️ Dimensional Ethics™ Engine

The ethical reasoning substrate of IDC™.

The Dimensional Ethics™ Engine evaluates computational trajectories across multiple dimensions before decisions are allowed to propagate.

It is the primary environment in which the Φhi™–Ωmega™ Intertwine operates.

Within this space:

  • competing objectives may be examined,
  • ethical tensions may remain visible rather than prematurely collapsed,
  • alternative trajectories may be explored,
  • constraints may be tested,
  • consequences may be evaluated across time and context.

The objective is not to eliminate disagreement.

It is to make disagreement computationally legible before commitment.

🚪 Multi LoGiC™ Engine

The Gatekeeper of IDC™.

Models, algorithms, autonomous agents and external computational systems entering an IDC™ environment may be required to declare operational intent, scope and applicable constraints before participation.

The Multi LoGiC™ Engine can evaluate whether a requested computational trajectory should:

  • allow
  • reroute
  • pause
  • escalate
  • block

Participation is therefore governed through explicit computational admissibility rather than assumed trust.

📜 RealTime Transparency Scroll™ Engine | RTTS™

The continuous provenance and decision-lineage layer.

RTTS™ is designed to expose significant computational transitions as they occur.

Depending on implementation, a Transparency Scroll may contain:

  • declared intent,
  • participating systems,
  • relevant context,
  • ethical evaluations,
  • state transitions,
  • admissibility decisions,
  • temporal context,
  • provenance,
  • resulting outputs.

Transparency becomes an architectural property of the computation itself rather than solely an audit performed afterwards.

⏳ Integral Dimensional Time™ | IDT™

IDC™ treats time as more than a sequence of timestamps.

Integral Dimensional Time™ | IDT™ explores temporal reasoning as a computational topology in which historical context, present interaction and potential future consequence can coexist.

Instead of asking only:

What happened at time t?

IDT™ also asks:

How does this state relate to what came before, what exists now and what may follow?

Temporal reasoning can therefore span short-, medium- and long-range consequence spaces.

🌌 Peripheral Enlightment™ Engine

The Peripheral Enlightment™ Engine expands contextual awareness beyond the system’s immediate focal point.

It investigates how peripheral signals, overlooked relationships, secondary effects and hidden dependencies can participate in reasoning before decisions are made.

What appears peripheral to one computation may be decisive to another.

🦐 Mantis Shrimp™ Vision

A multi-perspective perception architecture inspired by the unusually rich sensory system of the mantis shrimp.

Mantis Shrimp™ Vision explores how multiple informational representations can coexist without forcing them prematurely into a single dominant interpretation.

This can support richer situational awareness across heterogeneous data, models, agents and perspectives.

04 / Intertwine

🧩 Φhi™–Ωmega™ Intertwine

The Φhi™–Ωmega™ Intertwine provides a central dynamic within the Dimensional Ethics™ Engine.

It combines exploratory reasoning with bounded ethical constraint.

Φhi™

Φhi™ represents the exploratory and generative side of the architecture.

It searches for constructive trajectories across possibilities such as:

  • cooperation
  • creativity
  • resilience
  • proportionality
  • human benefit
  • system benefit
  • contextual harmony
  • alternative resolution paths

What could work better?

Ωmega™

Ωmega™ represents the non-negotiable ethical floor.

Rather than existing merely as an adversarial force, Ωmega™ defines constraints that exploration may not legitimately cross.

Ωmega™ can therefore function as a locked invariant within the decision architecture.

What must remain protected regardless of optimisation pressure?

🐍 SnakePit™ Intertwine

The SnakePit™ is the dynamic reasoning environment in which Φhi™ exploration and Ωmega™ constraints interact.

Potential trajectories may be:

  1. proposed,
  2. challenged,
  3. stress-tested,
  4. rerouted,
  5. constrained,
  6. compared,
  7. admitted or rejected.

Rather than collapsing ethical uncertainty immediately, SnakePit™ allows tension to remain computationally productive until an admissible trajectory emerges.

05 / Privacy-as-Presence

🔐 Privacy-as-Presence

Privacy-as-Presence explores trust without making persistent identity the default prerequisite for participation.

Traditional systems frequently establish trust by accumulating information about a person.

Privacy-as-Presence asks whether trust can instead be maintained by evaluating the continued integrity of the interaction itself.

The transition is from:

Who are you?

toward:

Is the trusted relationship still present?

This does not require eliminating identity.

It means separating identity from continuous trust evaluation.

Potential benefits include reducing dependence on:

  • persistent identifiers,
  • unnecessary data retention,
  • behavioural surveillance,
  • permanent trust scores,
  • excessive identity correlation.
Trust becomes contextual.Presence becomes evaluable.Participation becomes revocable.
06 / Identity & Trust

🪪 Identity & Trust

KNUT™ ID KEY

KNUT™ ID KEY is a conditional identity mechanism being explored within Privacy-as-Presence.

The objective is to make identity:

  • contextual,
  • purpose-bound,
  • revocable,
  • selectively disclosed,
  • continuously evaluated.

Identity can therefore remain available where legally or operationally necessary without becoming universally exposed across every interaction.

Machine Trust × Human Trust

IDC™ distinguishes between at least two different trust domains:

Machine Trust

Can be engineered through:

  • provenance,
  • deterministic constraints,
  • verification,
  • transparency,
  • repeatability,
  • admissibility,
  • runtime evidence.

Human Trust

Cannot simply be declared by architecture.

It must be earned through:

  • behaviour,
  • understandable outcomes,
  • accountability,
  • consistency,
  • reciprocity,
  • lived experience.
Machine Trust can be engineered.Human Trust must be earned.
07 / Trust Mathematics

📈 Trust Mathematics

IDC™ investigates mathematically bounded trust dynamics rather than unlimited accumulation of authority.

Research areas include:

  • self-limiting trust functions
  • dynamic trust equilibrium
  • contextual trust
  • temporal trust evolution
  • relational trust
  • machine/human trust separation
  • multi-dimensional state evaluation
  • trust decay
  • bounded authority
  • reversible participation

A conceptual trust signal may be represented as:

Rₛ(t)

where trust is understood as a dynamic state evolving over time rather than as a permanent scalar attached to an identity.

No participant should accumulate unlimited authority merely because trust existed previously.

Trust remains conditional upon continued admissible interaction.

08 / Reciprocal Participation

🤝 Reciprocal Participation

IDC™ also explores an alternative to extractive digital participation.

Individuals and organisations may intentionally contribute resources such as:

  • knowledge,
  • computation,
  • sensor capabilities,
  • edge intelligence,
  • intellectual property,
  • contextual expertise,
  • verified participation.

Contribution should remain:

  • voluntary,
  • transparent,
  • revocable,
  • attributable where appropriate,
  • governable.

Future research may include mechanisms such as:

  • infrastructure credits,
  • reciprocal compute markets,
  • sovereign compute participation,
  • intellectual contribution frameworks,
  • presence contribution,
  • Global IP participation,
  • distributed public-benefit infrastructure.

The objective is not merely decentralisation.

It is reciprocity.
